About the role

We are currently seeking an Interim Legal Counsel to join our team for approximately nine months.

Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for legal M&A and corporate legal affairs at MTG under the supervision of the General Counsel. You will also:

• Support the management and the General Counsel in the day-to-day running of MTG’s strategic investments/transactions and venture capital investments.

• Support in the day-to-day legal operations of the company.

• Assist with compliance matters, including related to the market abuse regulation, stock market rules and other regulations applicable for MTG.

• Support in other corporate law tasks related to the portfolio companies.

The skills and experience we’re looking for:

You are an analytical problem-solver with good judgment and strong social skills and have a proven ability to initiate and work independently. You manage to work and deliver well under tight deadlines and in stressful situations with the ability to direct and manage complex legal matters. You have an open and entrepreneurial mindset, and function well in project teams.

The successful candidate has a Swedish law degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience from a law firm. You are experienced in corporate law, M&A and have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
